Lack of Blogs

HEY GANG!!!

I do apologize for taking so long to write again. Lets hope that means a good thing, being busy and seeing everything all over the country side! I planned on posting something as soon as I got back from spring break, but after all the emotional and physical happenings..I had hardly any energy left after doing my best to catch up every day.

I am doing well. Time has truly flown by, so much faster than I imagined. We got off to a slow start but things have quickly come and gone, all great things of course. I am enjoying my time here to the fullest, but I do believe once the time comes, I will be ready to go home. I miss my family and friends SO much and I can't wait to reunite with them all again.

Recent Updates:

-Bush had gone on a tour to South America, well came here on tour, and well in case ya'll may not know, Bush is not favored here in Uruguay. There was a rally or protest against him, and they marched down the street, I suppose demanding he leave, but of course that was his plan anyways, so I'm not quite sure how that works out for the Uruguayans. Anyways, it was a bit scary but interesting. A few McDonald's here, had their windows blown out because the protestors had thrown things through the glass during the protests. They also spray-painted all over the walls "FUERA BUSH"--which means "go away Bush."

-Dengue Fever has struct certain areas of Uruguay. The little mosquito has found new land, or should I say fresh water and there have been a few cases of Dengue Fever already. This is a bit of urgency here in our town, and is reported frequently on the news, so if you could definitely make this apart of your prayers, we would very much like that!

-Last Friday, our group went to Estancia! It was a fun day!! An estancia is like a day ranch, where people can go for the weekend and ride horses, swim in the pool, ride bikes, its just a getaway an hour outside of the city of where we live! It was so great and I've always loved horses so much!! I now love them even more!!

Well I suppose thats it for now. This weekend I will be going to Buenos Aires again, for the Bible Missions class that I am in. We have to finish 10 more hours of class time..actually not that bad.. but then we get to do a service project on Saturday!!! I am so pumped!! We will be painting the church. I will definitely get some pictures in, but of course they won't be digital, because my batteries expired on me! haha oh well! Anyways, be keeping everyone in prayers and again, feel free to email me at anytime!! HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!!

PS- For those that are curious, I am working on my Spanish but it is taking a lot longer than I would like to, so just pray for my patience and my capacity of learning!! (haha..I feel as though I'm losing storage in my brian, for all this information!)

GOD BLESS!!!

..in the beginning..

Well it is finally about time i got something like this so that it make life a bit easier as far as communication goes. emails are great and i will love to continue to receive them and i will do my best to respond quickly, but sometimes it takes longer to respond to everything than i planned.

i will apologize ahead of time for there will be grammar and spelling errors. i'm lazy and don't really make time to hit the shift or the caps lock while i'm writing.

anyways so i'm a bit tired from a crazy bible class filled weekend. i have almost 30 hours of ministry in latin america under my belt! yay me! its actually a really good class, i just wished it was more spaced out throughout the semester. but oh well, it is bringing those who are in it closer to one another, since we are the only people we have really seen since friday morning! haha

well there is one thing that i like about this, but it will require effort on your part as a reader, because you now have become a participant. but i have some prayer requests:
1. being away from home puts a lot more on the studying abroad students' hearts. it's hard being away from family and friends. so if you could pray for everyone as a whole, specifically myself and for Scott as well, for he is still in a lot of pain!
2. Also, a very close friend of mine, Justina, her grandmother has been having problems and been in the hospital for the past three weeks. They will be putting that tube through the neck so that she can breath, so that they can try to take her off life-support. If you could just pray for Justina, her family and her grandmother. and i know this is really hard for Justina because she can not be there for her family or able to see her grandmother.

anyways i will be sure to update the prayer requests as well as my travels!! :) i wish you all a blessed week!! and just think of how i will be home before you know!!! LOVE YOUUU ALL!!!! :):):):)
